These terms govern your use of the Mystic Ragondin app. They are written to be read, not to intimidate. If anything here is unclear, write to chloe@mysticragondin.com.

What the app is, and is not

Mystic Ragondin computes a BaZi chart from the birth details you enter and offers readings, a daily practice, and a conversational companion. It is offered for reflection and entertainment. It does not predict the future, and nothing in it is medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. Decisions you make remain your own.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under the rules of the App Store or Google Play you got it from. You may not copy, modify, sell, or redistribute the app, its readings, or the model files it downloads, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

Purchases

The app is free to begin. A single one-time purchase, handled entirely by Apple or Google, opens the remaining content. There is no subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we operate no payment system of our own and never see your payment details.

Your data is in your hands

Everything you enter or create in the app is stored only on your device, as described in the privacy policy. That has one consequence worth stating plainly here: we hold no copy and cannot recover your data. If you delete the app without exporting a backup, or lose the device and the backup file, the data is gone. Making and keeping backups is your responsibility; the app gives you an export tool for exactly this.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and for its intended purpose. Readings you generate about other people (bonds, shared charts) are for your private reflection; be considerate about whose birth details you enter and what you share.

Intellectual property

The app, its writing, artwork, and design belong to us or our licensors. Charts computed from your birth details, and images you export or share, are yours to keep and share as you wish.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. We work carefully, especially on the astronomical and historical computation, but we do not warrant that the app is free of errors or that it will be available or supported indefinitely. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

If the app or these terms change in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the courts located in Delaware. Nothing in this section deprives you of protections granted by the consumer law of the place where you live.
