A daily oracle
Each morning, the day's pillars are read against your own: a short reading, and a moment to check in. The practice is the point; insight gathers slowly.
Three palettes. Try them here freely.
八字 · The Four Pillars of Destiny
Your birth chart, read entirely in your browser.
Mystic Ragondin casts your BaZi, the four pillars of your birth moment, and walks it with you: a reading for the day, six chapters that teach what the chart is saying, a companion you can ask. No account. No server. Nothing about you leaves the browser.
One purchase, no subscription. The first chapters are free.
The practice · 四柱
A chart is not a verdict. It is a text you learn to read.
Enter your birth date, time and place. The ragondin computes your pillars and keeps you company while you learn what they say.

A story in chapters
Six chapters, from the Four Pillars Gate to the Earth Mountain, each read against your own chart. Read them without one if you would rather begin there.
Your luck pillars
Life read in ten-year chapters, each with its own weather, and where you are standing in them now.
Bonds
Read your chart against the people in your life: where the weather between you is easy, and where it asks for care.
A companion to talk to
Ask about your pillars, your months, your bonds. The ragondin answers from your chart. A language model running on your device, and only there.
One purchase, kept
Begin freely. A single purchase opens the rest, once. No subscription, nothing renewing quietly in the background.
On-device, by design
Nothing to sign up for. Nowhere to leak from.
Apps in this category usually mean an account, a subscription, and your birth chart on someone else's server. This one is built the other way around: the chart is computed in your browser, and the companion you talk to is a real language model running there too, not a call to an API.
The proof is simple: unless you choose to download the companion's model files, the page makes no network requests at all. The privacy policy is short, and we mean it.
- No account, no login. No user identifier of any kind exists.
- No analytics, no tracking. No crash reporting, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.
- Your birth data stays yours. Date, time, place, chart and conversations, stored only in this browser.
- Deleting the app deletes everything. There is no server, so there is no account to close and no copy anywhere else.
The hour pillar · 時柱
Computed, not approximated.
BaZi is read from the sun's true position, not from clock time. Mystic Ragondin corrects your birth moment by longitude, applies the equation of time, and resolves the timezone that was actually in force on the day, not the one in force now.
- Solar-time correction. Your longitude and the equation of time decide the true hour; clock noon is rarely solar noon.
- Historical timezones. A 1942 London birth is read under wartime double summer time. A pre-1949 Chinese birth uses the zone that actually applied.
- Why it matters. Many apps silently use today's offset, and get the hour pillar wrong for a lot of people.
The app
Dark, warm, candlelit.
The ragondin keeps a quiet room. You are addressed as traveller, and never hurried.
