Apps in this category usually mean an account, a subscription, and your birth chart on someone else's server. This one is built the other way around: the chart is computed on your phone, and the companion you talk to is a real language model running there too, not a call to an API.
The proof is simple: unless you choose to download the companion's model files, the app makes no network requests at all. The privacy policy is short, and we mean it.
- No account, no login. No user identifier of any kind exists.
- No analytics, no tracking. No crash reporting, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.
- Your birth data stays yours. Date, time, place, chart, conversations, progress, stored only on the device.
- Deleting the app deletes everything. There is no server, so there is no account to close and no copy anywhere else.
The hour pillar · 時柱
Computed, not approximated.
BaZi is read from the sun's true position, not from clock time. Mystic Ragondin corrects your birth moment by longitude, applies the equation of time, and resolves the timezone that was actually in force on the day, not the one in force now.
- Solar-time correction. Your longitude and the equation of time decide the true hour; clock noon is rarely solar noon.
- Historical timezones. A 1942 London birth is read under wartime double summer time. A pre-1949 Chinese birth uses the zone that actually applied.
- Why it matters. Many apps silently use today's offset, and get the hour pillar wrong for a lot of people.
