Privacy Policy

Mystic Ragondin is built so that your chart cannot leave your hands. There is no account and no server. This policy is short because there is little to disclose: almost nothing happens off your device, and we describe the one exception honestly.

The whole policy, briefly

• No account, no login, no user identifier of any kind.
• No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking SDKs. None are present on this site.
• Everything you enter or create is stored only in this browser.
• Beyond loading the page itself, the only network requests are the optional download of AI model files and, if you buy, one check that your payment succeeded. Both are described below.
• We keep no copy, so clearing this site's browser data deletes everything.

What stays on your device

The following is stored in this browser's local storage, and nowhere else:

• Your birth data: date, time, place, and an optional first name.
• The computed chart.
• Your conversations with the companion.
• Your licence key, if you bought one.

None of this is transmitted, synced, or backed up by us.

The optional model download

The AI companion runs on a language model you may choose to download. Choosing it fetches the model weights from huggingface.co and the runtime library from raw.githubusercontent.com. Like any file download, those hosts necessarily see the IP address making the request, and they are third parties with their own policies. Nothing about you, not your name, your birth data, your chart, or your conversations, is sent with that request: it is a plain fetch of files, and it happens only when you ask for it. The files are then cached by your browser so it need not happen twice.

If you never download a model, the page fetches nothing beyond itself.

The companion runs on the device

Conversations with the companion are generated entirely in your browser by the downloaded model, using your own hardware. They are never transmitted anywhere, to us or to anyone else. There is no API behind the companion.

Purchases

Payment is handled by Stripe on their own checkout page. We never see or receive your card details.

After paying you are returned here with a checkout session id, and the page makes one request to our endpoint at /api/redeem. That endpoint asks Stripe whether that session was paid and, if so, returns a signed licence key. It writes nothing down: there is no database, no account, and no record linking a key to a person. The key is then stored in this browser and checked here, offline, every time afterwards.

Because we keep no record, we cannot look your key up for you. Keep it somewhere safe.

Backups

There is nothing to back up on our side, because we hold nothing. Your chart lives in this browser: clearing site data, or using a different browser or device, starts you over.

Deleting your data

There is no account to close, because none exists. Deleting the app removes everything, your birth data, chart, conversations, and progress. No copy remains anywhere, because none was ever made.

For reflection, not advice

Mystic Ragondin is offered for entertainment and reflection. It reads a chart and offers a daily practice; it does not predict the future, and it is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour ever changes in a way that matters here, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
