Privacy Policy

Mystic Ragondin is built so that your chart cannot leave your hands. There is no account and no server. This policy is short because there is little to disclose: almost nothing happens off your device, and we describe the one exception honestly.

The whole policy, briefly

• No account, no login, no user identifier of any kind.
• No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking SDKs. None are present in the app.
• Everything you enter or create is stored only on your device.
• The only network requests the app can ever make are the optional downloads of AI model files. If you never download a model, the app makes no network requests at all.
• Because there is no server, deleting the app deletes everything.

What stays on your device

The following is stored in local app storage on your phone, and nowhere else:

• Your birth data: date, time, place, and an optional first name.
• The computed chart.
• Your conversations with the companion.
• Your progress: chapters, garden, check-ins, bonds.

None of this is transmitted, synced, or backed up by us.

The one thing that touches the network

The AI companion runs on a language model that you may choose to download inside the app. These model files are fetched from a content delivery network (a Cloudflare R2 bucket). Like any file download on the internet, the CDN necessarily sees the IP address making the request. Nothing about you, not your name, your birth data, your chart, or your conversations, is sent with that request. The download is a plain fetch of files, and it happens only when you ask for it.

If you never download a model, the app makes no network requests at all.

The companion runs on the device

Conversations with the companion are generated entirely on your phone by the downloaded model. They are never transmitted anywhere, to us or to anyone else. There is no API behind the companion.

Reminders

The daily reminder is a local notification, scheduled by the app on your device. There is no push server and no push tokens.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details, and we operate no purchase server. Restoring a purchase goes through Apple or Google as well.

Backups

You can export your data to a file whose destination you choose: a folder, a drive, wherever you point it. The file goes only where you send it; we never receive it.

Sharing

You can generate an image of a reading and send it through your phone's share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it. Nothing is uploaded by us.

Deleting your data

There is no account to close, because none exists. Deleting the app removes everything, your birth data, chart, conversations, and progress. No copy remains anywhere, because none was ever made.

For reflection, not advice

Mystic Ragondin is offered for entertainment and reflection. It reads a chart and offers a daily practice; it does not predict the future, and it is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour ever changes in a way that matters here, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
